Spring Clean Up - Pool Deck Day

Volunteers needed!

Help prep the new pool for swimming during Spring clean-up pool deck day!

Stop by for a few hours on Saturday May 14th from 12pm - 4pm to help with the tasks below and get a sneak peek of the brand new pool!

If you cannot make it on Saturday, please reach out to Nathan directly (nathan.winkelaar@gmail.com) to let him know what task you will complete ahead of time.

Spring Clean-up tasks:

  1. Clean bathrooms:
  • Remove all chairs from bathrooms
  • Scrub all chairs of mold and dirt
  • Mop bathroom floors
  • Clean toilets
  • Clean sinks
  • Hang curtains in girl’s locker room
  • Ensure all lights are working
2. Guard Shack
  • Get rid of old clothes and lost and found
3. Bulletin Boards
  • Swim team to make a new board each year
  • Hang all awards that are kept in maintenance room
4. Pool Area
  • Pavilion and pool deck to be blown clean
  • Pressure wash pavilion deck
  • Set up Guard chair with Umbrella
  • Set up Umbrellas
  • Set up Basketball Hoop at Pool
  • All picnic tables to be lined up neatly
  • Clean gas grill
  • Start gas grill to ensure it works
  • Turn on party lights. Replace any that do not work
5. Pump Room
  • Clean freezer thoroughly
  • Clean all coolers
  • Throw away broken toys
  • Wash dirt on floor of room with hose (power washer would be better)
  • Ensure lights are working
